As there was no choral evensong on the first Sunday of the month due to the choir being on their break after Christmas, there will be one on Sunday 15th January at 6pm.

As said, choral evensong is usually the first Sunday of every Month at Saint Mary's in Maldon.  Apart from being a beautiful service and an experience which is quite different to the Mass it is also a chance to hear the choir to sing some of the finest music in their repertoire.  This Sunday the choir will be singing: Balfour-Gardiner, Evening Hymn and the Stanford, Canticles in C.  This is music new to the choir's repertoire and the first time they have sung it liturgically.  There will of course, be sung Mass as usually at 10am.
