St Mary’s Flower Festival 2019

The theme this year is “All About Maldon” and the displays reflect different aspects of the life of our town. We are so fortunate to live in Maldon with its historic High Street, quirky shops, ancient buildings, picturesque quay and beautiful Promenade Park overlooking the river. However most people will tell you that the best things about living in Maldon are the friendliness of the people and their sense of community. The flower displays you see reflect that because they are not only created by church members, but by community organisations from all parts of the town.

So enjoy your visit to this ancient building known as the “Fisherman’s Church” and “The Church on the Quay” and get a sense of God’s beauty in nature, the God given creative talents of the flower arrangers and the sense of community in this town, reflecting God’s love for us.
